This Saturday, October 10th is Fall Scout Day at the Huntsville U.S. Space & Rocket Center. The museum hours are from 9am - 5pm but we are tentatively meeting at 10am at the museum to try and go as a group. The cost is $18 per person and that includes:
Admission to the museum
One IMAX movie at the Spacedome Theater
Hamburger box lunch
A Scout Day patch
A Scout Day certificate

Free parking!
Some of us are also planning to camp out Friday night at Monte Sano State Park. Monte Sano offers a primitive campground with rates at $1.00 per person per night.
Per their website, Google Maps nor Mapquest offer adequate directions. These are the directions provided by Monte Sano:
Take I-65 North to I-565
From I-565 take exit 17b Govenors Dr.
Follow to top of mountain and turn left on Monte Sano Blvd.
Go 2.5 miles and turn right on Nolen Ave.
Follow it 1 mile until you arrive at the park.
